New York, NY: Day 11 of Occupy Wall Street has passed, and the crowd in Zucotti Park in downtown Manhattan has continued to grow. This mostly peaceful demonstration for the awareness of political corruption in finances has continued on longer than the Burning Man event in Nevada that many of protestors had coincidentally just returned from.

While police presence is a bit more obvious in New York City than in the middle of a desert, the noise seems just as loud. So loud, in fact, that it has piqued the curiosity of the cast members of MTV’s “Jersey Shore”.

“I heard that whole Burning Man thing was, like, a week-long dance party where peeps rocked out in the desert,” stated Jersey troll Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi. “I woulda gone if someone told me. But we heard about this rave in the city, and decided to join in.”

“My deejay skills are too fuckin awesome for stuff like Burning Man, so I’m not surprised I didn’t get invited,” stated local torso Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio. “But when I heard about this Occupy Wall Street rave, I was on it. We’re gonna get this party pumpin!”

Unfortunately, when the “Jersey Shore” cast arrived, they were handed pamphlets instead of bottles of Jagermeister, and stood around listening to Michael Moore instead of Armin van Buuren. “I showed up, and some hippy chick flashed me a peace sign and threw a rose at me while spinning a hula hoop. I had such a rage-stroke that I flung her ass in the air like a slingshot with that fuckin hoop,” explained cast member Ronnie Ortiz-Magro.

While many regard the cast as an annoyance to the respect they are trying to achieve, some demonstrators are happy that the cast of “Jersey Shore” showed up.

“It’s a dream come true,” stated activist Trent Lumner. “Here we are trying show people what is wrong with the world, and a perfect example literally stumbles into the limelight. It’s like having an oil-covered dolphin fall out of the sky during a fossil fuel protest. I hope they stay as long as we do.”
